Welcome to Character Witness, where we let our poor antagonized characters take center stage, and the authors have nothing to say.
Who are you?
Hi, I’m Greta. My twin sister Jenny recently disappeared…things haven’t been the same. Not in a bad way, I mean she probably dead so…I’m over sharing…oops (shrug)
Tell us about your author (and include links to where we can find them):
Tas Kronby, A.K.A Tas The Writer, is a horror writer and publisher who is autistic, queer, deaf, and a disabled person of color! With a BA in English Literature, they graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2023. Through their storytelling, they address religious trauma, abuse, discrimination, and societal barriers in a creepy yet thought-provoking manner. They translate their experiences as a biracial, queer, and neurodivergent individual into tangible creatures that symbolize their journey. Tas’ creativity is fueled by their passion for psychological horror, creature features, and science fiction.
What books are you in?
Phil, The Killer and I also have my own book coming out December 2024, Greta The Killer, but you can read Phil now.
What are you doing on a Friday night?
Shirley. (awkward pause) I mean, she’s my girlfriend, or we are just hooking up. It’s whatever. Other than that, I get to commit my very first murder in a few days! I am so excited! I can see why Phil loves it so much.
It’s Tuesday night, and your friends/allies/enemy-to-lover have dragged you out to your world’s version of a karaoke bar. What do you sing?
Sing, ha, yeah right. No one drags me anywhere. If anything, I will go along just to plan their horrific deaths.
What was your best worst decision?
Accepting that Jenny was never coming back. You see, we didn’t have the best relationship. My entire world revolved around her. We swapped a lot. I fucked people as her so she could keep her moral superiority. She died and the world opened up for me. I didn’t have to be Jenny, I could be a better version of Jenny without ridiculous rules and bullshit. So yeah, she’s dead and my love life has never been better! The only thing Phil did right was getting rid of her.
Every main character has a ghost, something that haunts them. What is yours?
Phil. I tracked his ass down to confront him about killing my sister. One thing led to another and well…I really need to kill him.
Tell me about your guilty pleasure or sinful habit:
Dare I say, dray dreaming of wrapping my hands around Phil’s neck and squeezing the life out him? Maybe do CPR, bring him back and do it all over again. I mean, I need to get some kills under my belt first, hence my weekend plans.

If you could save one thing from your burning house, what would it be?
Shirley. I love her more than life. She is the most kind, understanding person in the world. She sees me for me and loves me anyway
Anything you’d like your maker to know?
Yeah, I’ve been sitting here in the back rooms of my college library for like a month now. I am getting hungry, and really would like to kill that…person…they know who, sooner rather than later.
