Blurb writing sucks. That’s all. That’s it. It’s an elevated elevator pitch. An elongated statement. It is two bloody paragraphs with which to sell your entire book! It needs to give character! A tease of plot! The stakes! World-building! Aesthetic! It has to hook that reader in a handful of words versus an entire chapter!
It’s almost harder than writing the actual manuscript.
